Ever wanted to be one of the judges at an Iron Chef-style cooking competition? Then join us at November’s Salud y Sabor event – there’ll be activities for kids, food tastings and three local chefs will compete before a panel of local judges to help raise awareness about hunger and healthy eating. It’s a collaboration between KUNM, the Street Food Institute, the Agri-Cultura Network and the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
Help hungry families …and have fun! Bring food donations for the Storehouse New Mexico, the state’s largest food pantry. Non-perishable items like canned soups and peanut butter are welcome. Some non-perishable foods can be accepted as well.
It’s also you’re chance to meet the reporting team behind KUNM’s Public Health New Mexico! They’ll be on hand to help judge the competition and meet KUNM listeners. We hope to see you there!
